Colour Trends 2022

We design and speak to countless people about kitchens, we get sent 1000’s of Instagram photos and pictures.

Because of this we get a really good idea of what is popular at the moment and how things have been slowly changing.

Trends are exactly as they seem, something that has a finite lifespan.

So what’s on trend this year, you may look back on and think “really” in 5 or more years.

The great thing about our cabinetry is that they are hand painted so you can literally change the colour of them as often as you may want.

Neutral Colours – Neutral Colours are always popular, this is a great way of making cabinetry look sophisticated and not too “in your face!”

Dark Greys and Blacks – These can look amazing, and create a real “Wow” in a room and will really become the Centre piece of any room.

But you do need good lighting to make sure they will work for you.

Blues – we saw very dark blues being popular for a while and then more vibrant blues coming to the fore, again both can look stunning, but need good lighting.

Greens – dark greens have proved to be the colour that is being requested again and again, from very dark to more mossy greens with the right combination of handles and worktops they can create an amazing stylish oasis of calm, and lets face it – over the past 2 years don’t we all need this?

The great thing is that we can paint a kitchen in literally ANY colour – so let the world be your oyster!
